Douglas Sylvester, Dean of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, was interviewed on KTAR-FM (www.ktar.com), in a Nov. 9 segment on the College of Law’s proposed move to downtown Phoenix. In the interview, Sylvester discusses the law school outgrowing its current facilities, in which personnel are currently spread out among five different buildings on ASU’s Tempe campus and in the downtown Valley.

The new downtown Phoenix building would be located in on a block bounded by First and Second streets and Taylor and Polk streets. If approved, the downtown building would open in 2016 and would join several other ASU colleges and schools located downtown, including the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and the College of Public Programs.
