Two students from the College of Law competed in the National Native American Law Students Association Moot Court Competition at the Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland on Feb. 22-23.

The team, consisting of Jeremiah Chin and Jonathon Sanchez, second-year law students and members of the Indian Legal Program, made it to the semi-final round of the competition before finishing in the top four.

Patricia Ferguson-Bohnee, faculty director of the Indian Legal Clinic, said Chin and Sanchez were chosen to compete due to their strong advocacy skills and substantive knowledge of the law.
