02/15/2012
Second-year law student Lucas LaRose recently was elected governor of the ABA Law Student Division 15th Circuit, effective March 18.
The 15th Circuit includes the nine law schools in Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming.
LaRose will be responsible for oversight of ABA Law Student Division activity, and representing the interests and communicating the needs of law students. He will also share information about national concerns, interests and activities of the Division’s Board of Governors, Division programs, activities, leadership positions and encouraging student participation. He will also develop a plan of action for the circuit to include public interest initiatives, programming and membership outreach.
