Tsosie a panelist at Bar Leadership Institute

Rebecca Tsosie
public practice on Nov. 16.
The Bar Leadership Institute is a one-year program that focuses on diversity, with emphasis on racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, gender, sexual orientation and disability. Members earn up to two years of CLE credit for participation.
Tsosie served on the panel along with College of Law alumna and the first Native American woman to serve as a U.S. Attorney, Diane Humetewa, and Leezie Kim of the Department of Homeland Security, among others.
Tsosie teaches in the areas of Indian law, Property, Bioethics and Critical Race Theory, as well as conducting seminars in International Indigenous Rights. She has written and published widely on doctrinal and theoretical issues related to tribal sovereignty, environmental policy and cultural rights, and is the author of many prominent articles dealing with cultural resources and cultural pluralism.
