‘State Press’ reports Sylvester appointment
An article in the March 27 ASU
quotes the new Dean of the College of Law, Douglas
Sylvester, as saying he looks forward to moving an already excellent school into the future.
“I want to be part of an institution that had all of the pieces in place – great faculty, great students, great alumni,” he said. “That’s ASU.”
Sylvester, who on March 26 was appointed by President Michael M. Crow to the dean’s post after serving as interim for nearly a year, told reporter Kharli Mandeville about his plans to raise funds for scholarships for students and to help place graduates in jobs.
