Weekly lectures by Marchant part of ASU Presidential Engagement Programs

Gary Marchant
Gary Marchant, ASU Lincoln Professor of Emerging Technologies, Law and Ethics and senior sustainability scientist at ASU, will deliver a series of four lectures every Thursday from Oct. 25 to Nov. 15. The lectures will be from 1-3 p.m. at SkySong – ASU’s Scottsdale Innovation Center.
The lectures, part of the ASU Presidential Engagement Programs series, focus on "Emerging Technologies Transforming Your Life and Society: Social, Ethical and Legal Dimensions." Marchant will talk about how emerging technologies are changing our health, relationships, employment and privacy and security.
Tickets are $160 for the series and can be purchased

Marchant, Faculty Director of the Center of Law, Science & Innovation at the College of Law, frequently lectures about the intersection of law and science at national and international conferences. He has authored more than 60 articles and book chapters on various issues relating to emerging technologies.
