Hodge interviewed by 'NewPublicHealth' on public health law during emergencies

James G. Hodge Jr., the ASU Lincoln Professor of Health Law and Ethics, was interviewed by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s NewPublicHealth on public health law during Hurricane Isaac, West Nile and other emergencies.

The interview concerned the work that Hodge has done lately for the Network for Public Health Law, an RWJ program, which provides legal assistance and resources for local, tribal, state and federal officials, public health practitioners, attorneys, policy-makers and advocates. Hodge serves as the Network’s Principal Investigator and Director of its Western region.

Recently, Hodge and other staff attorneys have fielded calls and distributed critical guidance on legal issues related to combating West Nile Virus and preparing for Hurricane Isaac.
