Ira Ellman
The New York Times recently published Professor Ira Ellman’s letter as the lead comment on its Dec. 21 article, , “New Health Law Frustrates Many in Middle Class.” The article reported on several families who questioned whether they should buy insurance on the new individual exchanges; Ellman’s comment observed that their situations offered examples justifying the individual mandate.
