Sheila Polk (Class of ’82), Yavapai County Attorney, has been named by The Arizona Republic as one of 14 people to watch in 2014.

The Republic noted her leadership with the state’s prosecutors on medical marijuana issues and ordering Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne to pay nearly $400,000 to an independent campaign committee she determined had illegally coordinated with Horne during his 2010 campaign.

“Polk seems to realize that the integrity of the rule of law is at stake in both these cases,” The Republic states.
