Granville ('07) named one of Tempe’s People of the Year

Kolby Granville, Class of 2007, has been selected by The Arizona Republic as one of Tempe’s 2013 People of the Year. 

Granville, a Tempe City Councilman, was cited for his outspoken advocacy.

“This year, Granville has advocated for marriage equality for same-sex couples, for tweaking city discrimination policies to protect people who are gay, for more code-enforcement staff to tackle neighborhood eyesores, and for improving bicycle safety in a college town where hundreds of people choose biking as their primary transportation,” The Republic states.
