Associate Clinical Professor Jaime Dahlstedt recently hosted the Southwest Clinical Workshop: Empowering Future Generations.
This workshop brought together Clinical faculty from across the nation to discuss a wide range of innovative topics including: the use of neuroscience in juvenile cases, school to prison pipelines, ICWA considerations, immigration issues, use of the “one parent doctrine” and pedagogical considerations and accompanying challenges that arise when teaching a Clinic that affects children. The workshop provided a forum for Clinicians to share their experiences, expertise and innovative ideas.
