Rose receives appointments from American Law Institute, Administrative Conference of the US

 Jonathan Rose

Professor Jonathan Rose, an Emeritus Professor of Law at the College of Law, recently was appointed by the American Law Institute's (ALI) executive director and council to be an adviser to ALI's Restatement on Consumer Contract. 

In addition, Rose was reappointed by the Administrative Conference of the United States as a Senior Fellow for the organization.

Rose, who joined the faculty in 1968 and was an Associate Dean from 1987-90, teaches Legal History, Antitrust, Contracts and Legal Ethics, and has received numerous teaching awards. He also is a Faculty Affiliate of the Arizona Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies at ASU. He is the author of numerous articles on legal history, antitrust, economic and occupational regulation, and legal ethics.
