On August 15, Art Hinshaw, Clinical Professor of Law, gave the keynote address at the Florida Supreme Court's 22nd Annual Dispute Resolution Conference. Professor Hinshaw's speech, entitled Change, Uncertainty, and the Unknown, discussed the major changes in the mediation field over the last twenty-five years and what changes may lie ahead in the context of larger concepts of personal change and adaptability.
Hinshaw's research and teaching interests lie in the field of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), primarily mediation and negotiation. His research bridges ADR theory and practice, and his teaching responsibilities include the Lodestar Mediation Clinic and Negotiation among other ADR courses.
