The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law is pleased to announce Regents' Professor Rebecca Tsosie was recently awarded the 2014 Individual Leadership Award by the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE). The Individual Leadership Award seeks to honor those whose work informs or advances understanding of diversity and inclusive excellence in higher education. The NADOHE recognizes leaders who have made outstanding contributions to research, administration, practice, advocacy, or policy work.

The Indian Legal Program at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law will host a conference titled “Sustaining the Reservation: Creating Tribal Economies,” on Feb. 27 and 28 at the ASU Tempe campus.
The conference will bring together scholars, tribal leaders, economists, economic development planners, attorneys, and others to explore viable solutions for economic development on reservations. Topics to be covered include: economic diversification, energy development, housing, banking, finance and taxation, as well as off-reservation development.
