The Program’s faculty consists of nationally recognized ADR scholars and practitioners.Bob Dauber – Professor Dauber helped design the Lodestar Mediation Clinic, he regularly presents papers and workshops on ADR related topics. In conjunction with Dr. Wissler, he recently conducted two major empirical studies of Arizona’s ADR initiatives.
Art Hinshaw – Professor Hinshaw is the Director of the Lodestar Dispute Resolution Program and serves on the American Association of Law School’s ADR Committee. A frequent speaker on mediation related topics, he conducts research on ADR policy issues and has studied state court ADR initiatives in Missouri.
Marty Latz – Professor Latz is a nationally acclaimed expert on negotiation strategy and tactics and has appeared as such on CBS' The Early Show and such national business shows as First Money and Your Business. Thousands of business professionals and lawyers nationwide have participated in his training programs, and he recently published the well-received book Gain the Edge, Negotiating to Get What You Want.
Bruce Meyerson – Professor Meyerson, who previously served on the Arizona Court of Appeals and as General Counsel for ASU, is an active professional mediator and arbitrator. He has successfully resolved over 2000 cases in mediation and is one of a small number of arbitrators selected to arbitrate large class actions for the American Association of Arbitration. He is recognized as a state and national leader in the dispute resolution field, having served as Chair of the ABA’s Section of Dispute Resolution. Roselle Wissler – Dr. Wissler, a prominent social scientist, is Research Director for the Lodestar Dispute Resolution Program. She is one of the country’s foremost empirical researchers in the field of Dispute Resolution, having studied court-connected ADR programs in Arizona and Ohio, and she regularly acts as a consultant for the Federal Judicial Center’s technical assistance project for court-connected ADR programs.
